My favorite hashtag in Gina’s list would have to be the last one: #iwontkillthembecausetheywaterthemselves (for legibility’s sake: “I won’t kill them because they water themselves).
These’re Wine Bottle Planters by Practical Art artisan Ray DelMuro of Refresh Glass, and Gina’s right on the money: the top half of the bottle is flipped into the lower so that a string can wick water up from the reservoir and into the dirt– when the dirt needs it! Brown thumb? Voila! Green thumb. And these look fantastic clustered like this! Thanks for sharing, Gina!
Do you have Practical Art in your home?! Let us feature it in a “Natural Habitats” blog! Artful wares look beautiful in the shop, but we think they look so much better in use, being loved! Just hashtag your Instagram photos with #practicalart or tag us as @practicalartphx! If you’re a little more low tech, email your snapshots to firstname.lastname@example.org!
