Can you believe we are already on the 11th day of our 12-day countdown?! That makes it the SECOND TO LAST of the 12 Days of Christmas blog posts– the blog series where we asked some local-loving Phoenicians for their top gift picks (all found at Practical Art).
You are now officially in ‘STAFF ZONE’. We had Karen’s choice pick yesterday (the rad yellow scarflette), and today…. Kara just can’t contain herself anymore, so we’re letting it be her turn.
Also, feel free to browse our online shop for more goodies, or come in any day 10a-8pm until the holiday! And with that, here’s the ELEVENTH gift suggestion!
Phoenician: Kara Roschi
Today’s pick comes from our very own Kara Roschi, co-owner of Practical Art, who chose the bee habitat by artisan Greg Corman (his exhibition “ARTIFACT” is currently on display at the gallery). Kara fell in love with these the day they arrived at Practical Art…and the love has sustained. “They are ideal for those who have green thumbs. Not only are they are beautiful, but they provide a great environment for native bees that will help pollinate your garden!” Come on in and let her talk your ear off about ’em.
About Kara: Kara is a co-owner at Practical Art with business partner Lisa Olson. She has a Bachelors of Fine Art in Intermedia Art from Arizona State University, holds a certificate from the Phoenix Art Museum’s docent program, and is currently pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts in Intermedia Art at ASU. Safe to say she knows her stuff.
